Natalie + Shaun // A Spring Picnic Engagement
Words do not express the sweetness of this day. Natalie and Shaun shared a spring picnic together followed by a bike ride on the trails at Governor State Park. These two both love Wes Anderson films and wanted me to channel some of that into their session. I think we definitely achieved that goal and then some with these.
Drew Vinz // Branding Portraits
Drew is the owner/creator/artist behind Rivet & Bezel, a whimsical Milwaukee-based jewelry shop, that incorporates elements from nature in resin. Her art is just gorgeous and I wanted these photos to encapsulate that and really say ‘Drew’.
Alejandra May // Branding Portraits
Alejandra May is magic, and so is her art. Ale is a WI local artist who specializes in mixed media and acrylic painting. We really wanted to encapsulate Ale’s brand, personality and art through these portraits so they could be used in a variety of ways.
Big Oil // Stylized Band Shoot
My partner, Murphy, is the bassist in a local band and I got to style and shoot a session for them this past month! It was such a blast putting together outfits and a vision board for the shoot, and even better to see it all come together.
Finding Self-Love // An Event
I've been talking about hosting a self-love event for a while now. I shot these self-portraits featuring parts of me I have insecurities about, and it's made me want to host an event even more. I can't lie, going through these made me super emotional.
I'm terrified to share these, but I also really love them, and I think I can honestly say I love my body too - acne scars and all.
Liz + Joe // A Madison Meet Cute + Engagement
Liz and Joe wanted to document some sweet memories on Monroe Street, including a little pizza party and jaunt through one of their favorite record stores - Strictly Discs. Watching these two interact and just be silly together was such a privilege and I can’t WAIT to document their wedding in 2023.
