Black and white photo of a young woman with glasses and tattoos reaching towards the camera, sitting with her arm resting on a disco ball.

Hey, I’m Nat

There are a LOT of photographers out there, so you’re probably wondering why you should choose me over everyone else.

For starters, I love this job and I love my clients.

I prioritize human connection over everything else in my work, and I believe that in order to take photographs that capture real feeling, it is important to click with my clients. Being in front of the camera can be scary and vulnerable, but even more so if you don’t feel seen by your photographer!

For that reason, I like to share a little bit about myself to see if I resonate with you. My main goal is to make you feel heard and establish trust before our shoot so we can dive right into the creative process together.

So without further ado…

More About Me

  • I support LGBTQ+ rights and I firmly believe that love is a human right.

    • This is a safe space for people of all backgrounds, identities, religions, and races

    • Politics will always have a place in my business because it is political for many of my clients to simply exist

    • I stand for human rights

    • I vote for politicians that campaign for human rights

    • Hate speech and discrimination will not be tolerated

    • I promise to only ever recommend vendors that have pledged to provide an inclusive and safe experience for their clients

  • is often described as dreamy, romantic & cinematic. When I am behind the camera I lead with storytelling. This means that while I make sure to have classic portraits in each gallery, I also focus on the little details that bring a gallery to life. When we shoot together, I’ll document the landscape, your surroundings, and the way you interact with each other and your environment.

Because I love storytelling so much, I encourage clients to incorporate as much of themselves into a session as possible. If it is your wedding or elopement, then that is likely already the plan, but for engagement sessions and creative portraits, it is SO important to choose a location or activity that means something to the two of you.

My style is like peeking through a window into your relationship and your love, so most of the end result comes from understanding you and the connection you share!

  • movies, books and art that make me feel things deeply. I am obsessed with Twilight, Pride & Prejudice, Song of Achilles, Merlin, Jane Austen everything, Practical Magic, About Time, Shakespeare, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and anything and everything that feels magical and romantic.

I grew up obsessed with fantasy and period pieces (bonus if they cross over), and that obsession really never went away. When I am shooting with a client, I often draw on these pieces of media for prompts within the session or as inspiration for planning and location scouting.

I always love to hear from clients that want to draw on their own favorite movie or book when planning a session or wedding. Send me your mood board or the name of your favorite artist and we can make something magic together!

  • is to balance real, candid, unplanned moments with prompts and direction. I like to disappear into the background as much as possible during a wedding day, and I keep an eye out for moments I personally would want immortalized in print forever. On the flip side, I am also very comfortable posing, giving prompts, and stepping in front of a crowd when needed.

I think a good photographer knows when to take a step back and watch the moment unfold, but also when to step in and give direction. My favorite wedding albums have all the little moments - first looks, buttons getting fastened, goosebumps & little touches - but also the bigger moments - your classic ‘for-the-parents’ portraits, the cake cutting, the dances.

I am here first and foremost for my clients. I want to capture your day as it unfolds, but I will also be there to create a little magic and out-there art if you’re down for it!

  • madly in love and looking for a photography experience that feels fun, relaxed and a reflection of their real selves.

My clients love love and they respect individuals from all walks of life!
