The three of us were fighting against what felt like an actual wind storm to get to the top of the dunes, and it was definitely NOT balmy. Even still, I think it was all worth it in the end! For starters, we couldn’t stop laughing (always a plus), the wind lent a ton of movement to the images, and as a bonus we had the park entirely to ourselves.

Engagement session, but it's really just us playing vampires and mermaids in the river✨️

Sarah grew up in Michigan and has been going to Jollay Orchards her whole life, so there was a lot of sentimentality throughout our tour. We started their session with the apple orchard, and from there we explored the grounds for spooky photo-ops.

Julia and Mitchell planned a day straight from the heavens. A string quartet set the scene for Julia and Mitchell’s ceremony and reception and from there they jumped into a homemade playlist that had everyone hitting the dance floor.

This fantasy inspired wedding was simply stunning. Raven and Jacob’s vows had everyone in tears, and the scenery and decor felt like a scene out of Lord of the Rings. Props to these two for putting together an absolutely gorgeous wedding that was fun to boot!

In lieu of an engagement session, Cheyanne and Jack chose to have ‘morning after’ portraits done the day after their wedding ceremony on the Duluth shoreline.
